"Its not about the size of the dog in the fight, Its about the size of the fight in the dog"

Brief intro to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and then into the nitty gritty bits on how small businesses compete with bigger companies through SEO.

SEO is a process designed to improve the appearance, positioning and usefulness of multiple types of content in a search result. We find it in everyday life either on web pages and social media platforms.

The resources bigger companies have compared to the smaller companies gives them an advantage on the search market but with a strategic plan a smaller company can indeed compete on all aspects of their business. Here are some areas they can focus more on:

Focus on Local SEO - To be competitive with big companies they need to connect with a community which ill help them start off on a small audience size that they can grow overtime, Google Business Profile is a good tool to uses as it shows Google that you are a trusted business as you have the right contact details, opening hours etc.

Create Niche Content - As a small business it is important to stand out how to do that is with a niche opportunity that a bigger company cant do, as it is a local the audience you are promoting to will buy into what the business does.

Optimize Website Speed & Mobile Friendliness - Short and sweet is key for a small business, keep the information informative and a clean design to ensure accessibility and site speed isn't affected

Thanks for sticking around and all the support,

See you all soon.
