Cybersecurity For Small Businesses

Image
Happy Halloween Everyone👻👻.  Hope everyone was safe, which is ironic as todays topic is all about safety with cybersecurity. Cyber security has become a very important security concern for everyone in companies and in everyday normal life. As we have seen in recent events even in SETU being a victim of a cyber attack, cyber attacks have become more prominent as there are many more people working from home. It has also become easier for scammers to achieve their goals as many people don't even know sometimes at what they are opening on a daily basis through links and emails. For small business a cyber attack could be detrimental as for some cyber attacks they do it for financial gain and for some businesses they cannot come back from the debt that they may be put into after it. The main way businesses get attacked is by the lack of education from the staff, weak passwords and an unsecure Wi-Fi network. Cyber criminals pray on these small businesses because they haven't the pro...

Hi  Everyone AGAIN!!!, Todays topic is a lot different to my last post. Today I would like to talk about the region of Ireland that I live in, and that is the South East Of Ireland it consists of Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford, Tipperary and Carlow. I love the south east and I feel that it could be a great place to invest for any firm but especially a tech firm would be very ideal for the area. 💰 The South East of Ireland is in a very good development stage at the moment it has only recently been awarded 2 technological universities, SETU Waterford and SETU Carlow. With the recent news of the new veterinary course that has been granted for the SETU Waterford campus it really has been given a boost for the area as there was only one other course in Ireland with that degree🐮🐎. The region has a very good population o...
